The Paso Robles Chapter #465 of the Experimental Aircraft Association was re-organized in 2000 and as of 2009 has about 32 active members. 

Our members are involved with building a number of different types of experimental aircraft, such as Van's RV-7, Van's RV-8, Van's RV-12, Cozy, Lancair Legacy, Sonerai, and Sonex.  In addition, several certified aircraft are being restored and/or modified.    Over the past two years, there have been three first flights of completed aircraft.  Our members participate in yearly Young Eagles Rallys and other aviation events.

Chapter #465 benefits from having a highly experienced Technical Counselor who advises members on their projects, a highly experienced Flight Advisor who is a CFII and homebuilder, and a highly experienced Safety Advisor.  In addition, we have a great monthly newsletter sent to all members by email or postal.  Our chapter holds monthly member meetings.
